More than 406km of action are packed into just 14 stages over four days. Each of the seven tests is used twice and, as usual, the itinerary visits the three valleys of Cordoba province with each offering different stage characteristics.
The action starts with the traditional super special stage on the edge of the host town of Villa Carlos Paz in the late afternoon of Thursday 8 May.
Friday’s leg heads north into the hills of the Punilla Valley and includes two passes over the 52km Ascochinga - Agua de Oro test.
On Saturday competitors head south for two loops in the rolling Calamuchita valley, before a second pass over the super special stage. It is the longest day of the rally with 165.36km of competition.
As ever, a sting in the tail awaits in the final leg amid the stunning landscape of the Traslasierra mountains with two of the season’s classic stages.
Two loops of the rocky Giulio Cesare - Mina Clavero and El Condor - Copina tests are on the menu. Giulio Cesare will be run in this direction for the first time since 2002.
The rally, which last year marked Sebastien Loeb's final WRC win, is the fifth round of the season.
