Rally fans can keep up to date with all the latest news from the FIA World Rally Championship whilst on the move following today’s launch of the official free WRC app for smartphones.
Exciting content including news, images, videos, live radio and results are available in English, German, French and Spanish in time for Rally Sweden, second round of the championship, which starts in Karlstad tonight.
The new live text feature which was introduced to the relaunched WRC website at www.wrc.com at last month’s Rallye Monte-Carlo, can also be accessed from the app while the WRC Facebook and Twitter feeds are also integrated.
Oliver Ciesla, managing director of WRC Promoter, said: “Following the successful relaunch of the home page, it was important to us to make sure that our fans are always kept well informed and up-to-date when they are on the move too.
“Our new app is an innovative product that delivers all the important
information and features in a very clear and intuitive menu that is easy to
navigate. We hope that WRC fans will really enjoy using this app,” he said.
The free app, created by LAOLA1 Multimedia GmbH, is available for iOS devices at https://itunes.apple.com/en/app/wrc-official-app-fiaworld/id799442789 and for Android devices at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=at.laola1.wrc&hl=en.
