More than 45 per cent of stages at the season-opening Rallye Monte-Carlo (24-27 January) have been revised compared to last year – adding to the challenge of the oldest round on the WRC calendar.
Now in its 87th year, the Monte remains one of the most unpredictable events of the season. Run from a service base in Gap in south-east France, the wintry on-stage action is spread across four days and 16 asphalt speed tests.

The event begins on Thursday evening with a ceremonial start in Gap before battle commences on two new night stages, La Breole – Selonnet (20.76km) and Avançon – Notre Dame Du Laus (20.59km).
Friday (25 January) - WRC+ Live Stream from 0715hrs – 1815hrs local rally time (UTC+1)
After an overnight halt in Gap, crews will tackle 125km of stages on Friday. The longest day features two loops of three stages south-west of Gap. The new Valdrome – Sigottier (20.04km) starts each loop, followed by Roussieux – Laborel (24.05km) and the new Curbans – Piegut (18.47km). Crews will overnight again in Gap.
Saturday (26 January) - WRC+ Live Stream from 0730hrs – 1530hrs local rally time (UTC+1)
Saturday comprises two stages run twice: Agnieres En Devoluy – Corps (29.82km) and St Leger Les Melezes – La Batie Neuve (16.87km), before a 245km drive south into Monaco and an overnight Parc Fermé by the harbour.
Sunday (27 January) - WRC+ Live Stream from 0745hrs – 1345hrs local rally time (UTC+1)
Sunday's final morning of competition takes place over a pair of repeated tests in the Alpes Maritimes mountains above the Principality.
La Bollene Vesubie – Peira Cava (18.41km) includes the iconic Col de Turini, while the second pass of La Cabanette – Col De Braus (13.58km) counts as the rally-closing Live TV Power Stage.
After a total stage distance of 323.83km, the event wraps up on Sunday afternoon when winners are honoured at a prize-giving ceremony overlooking the famous harbour.
