In 21 days, all eyes will be on Sébastien Ogier as he takes the start of Rallye Monte-Carlo (24-27 January) and begins his quest to turn Citroën Racing's C3 WRC into a title challenger.
It's an intriguing phase in the reigning world champion's glittering career and he's been busy pounding the asphalt test roads to make sure he's ready for the 2019 season opener.
He and new team-mate Esapekka Lappi recently spent two days evaluating the C3 on twisty roads close to Gap, the town in the French Alps that will host the Monte Service Park.
Both men encountered varied weather conditions, ranging from dry to ice-covered asphalt.
Through the wonder of spectator-cam technology, we're able to see how both Ogier and Lappi shaped up in the south of France.
