The Torsby-based event always provides a stern test for the crews as they fight for supremacy on the slippery snow and ice-covered roads in both Sweden and neighbouring Norway.
This year's event was no exception, with some drivers revelling in the conditions and others hitting trouble.
As the only pure winter rally on the WRC calendar, Rally Sweden is a dream for the WRC.com photographers. Snow, ice, dramatic forest backdrops and daunting snow banks provided the ingredients for some stunning images that were captured by Red Bull photographer Jaanus Ree and the talented @World team during this year's event.
