Since returning to Europe from Mexico, teams have been hard at work preparing for the very different challenge that awaits at Corsica linea - Tour de Corse [28 – 31 March].

The first pure asphalt event of the season, the Tour de Corse (or Rally of 10,000 Corners) pits crews against some of the most technically demanding stages of the year.

And to get into the asphalt groove, all the manufacturer teams have been testing on representative roads.

Last year’s Corsica winner Sébastien Ogier and his Citroën Racing team-mate Esapekka Lappi each spent two days in the C3 on Corsican roads last week to review and fine-tune set-up options.

Toyota Gazoo Racing drivers Ott Tänak, Kris Meeke and Jari-Matti Latvala carried out a mix of pre-event and development testing, with Latvala covering 200km at the wheel of the Yaris.

Hyundai crews Thierry Neuville, Dani Sordo and multiple Corsica winner Sébastien Loeb tested the i20 Coupe in asphalt spec, while M-Sport Ford also ran a two-day test in Corsica with Elfyn Evans and Teemu Suninen getting some valuable seat time.

Thanks again to a dedicated team of WRC spotters, we can see what all of the teams have been up to.
